A NOTE FROM THE OWNER:
We are locally owned and operated. I started working in the appliance service business in 1976, at the age of 15, repairing machines. Doing that everyday for over 30 years has given me a knowledge of how appliances work from the inside out. Most sales clerks know their machines from the outside IN (into their pockets). They don’t really understand the machines they’re selling; and, they usually push customers toward appliances that bring greater commissions. That’s what they’re trained to do.
At Woodlee Appliance, we give customers (when asked) a recommendation based on our experience of selling and servicing the appliances. We know which appliances hold up better and need fewer repairs. The knowledge and experience that has taken us so long to acquire, we gladly share with our customers.
2. Price How can we compete with the "big-box" stores? First, we are part of one of the largest "buying-cooperatives" in the Southeast which works directly with manufacturers to get the best prices on excellent models throughout the year. Second, we don’t have the large OVERHEAD that those stores have. So, lower overhead means LOWER prices. And third, we often can beat the "big boys" through our access to special closed-out inventory. These close-outs can mean HUGE discounts!
3. Service The third reason I suggest you do business with Woodlee Appliance is SERVICE. We’re authorized to perform factory service for every brand we sell. That means we’ve been trained by the manufacturers - Whirlpool, Maytag, Frigidaire, Fisher & Paykel - to service their products. We receive updated service information as soon as it’s available. So during the warranty period and afterward, our customers call us (instead of 1-800-WAIT-AWEEK). We have pledged our best efforts to take care of their service needs as soon as possible.
